Kassandra, the western point of Halkidiki, being the closest to Thessaloniki, is the most attractive and populated of the three peninsulas. Afytos

Afytos is a unique place in Greece which many tourists and locals visit every year. This is a place where one wants to return again and again and each time there is something new to see and do. Magical Afytos‘ atmosphere makes you fall in love with this place and doesn’t leave anyone indifferent.

Paralia Dionisiou Beach

Small typical greek village is only 3 km from Nea Moudania, the largest city of Kassandra. The distance to the Thessaloniki is 48 km. It’s an ideal place for a quite family holiday. There are taverns and organized beachs along the seaside. In the centre of the village every evening there is a market and a small park of amusement rides. The most part of holidaymakers in Dionisiou Beach are Greek people, who have their seaside home here. It adds local color to this place: you can feel the Greek way of living here without a large tourist influence.

Hanioti

It is a lively tourist village located at the distance of 90 km from the airport of Thessaloniki. Its population is appr. 1000 people. There are modern hotels, stores, taverns, restaurants, bars and night clubs, children’s amusement facilities. The life in the center of the village continues till the early morning. Crystal clean sea and sandy beaches, pinewood and plenty of green trees complete with active night life make this village attractive both for family and for youth holidays.

Kallithea

One of the most popular tourist villages in Kassandra is Kallithea which is located 75 km from the airport of Thessaloniki. The population of the village is approximately 1000 inhabitants. During the summer season the population increases dramatically because of the arriving tourists. There are a many hotels and apartments for rent in Kallithea village.

Kriopigi

Kriopigi is a popular summer tourist village which is located 82 km from Thessaloniki airport.

Mola Kalyva

Mola Kalyva is a small summer village 95 km from the airport.

Mouries

Mouries is a small area which is cosy located along the seaside between two greek villages Flogita and Paralia Dionisiou Beach. Official Mouries is a part of Paralia Dionisiou Beach, which is in 10 min. walking by the road along the sea.

Nea Kallikratia

Upon the opinion of Thessaloniki and surroundings inhabitants Nea Kallikratia is the first village towards Halkidiki where the sea is ideal clean and doesn’t contain any remains of city’s footprints. Thessaloniki residents come to Kallikrateia for a swim, many have summer houses here but the majority of population live in Kallikratia throughout the year.

Nea Moudania

Nea Moudania is the second largest town of Halkidiki.  It is the largest commercial and trade town with a population of appr. 15,000 people and is located on the seaside of the Thermaikos gulf and is only 51 km from the Thessaloniki airport. There are many stores, shops, taverns, restaurants, cafeterias, bars and night clubs, the branches of central banks, post office. The perfect beaches of the city will not leave indifferent any tourist. The tourists who visit Nea Moudania in mid July can take part in the annual Sea and Sardine festival which lasts for a week. There are different events during the celebration and the main part of the holiday is a grand feast where you are offered sardines and local wine.  There is a port in Nea Moudania from where you can hire a boat for fishing.

Nea Flogita

It is a lively tourist village located 45 km from the airport of Thessaloniki and only 6 km from the city Nea Moudania, second size city in Halkidiki. Nea Flogita is a large tourist village with local population of 1400 people and developed infrastructure. There are a lot of taverns, restaurants, bars and night clubs and children’s amusement facilities. The local market in the center of village offers a large variety of traditional and modern products. Wide sand-stone beaches and clear crystal sea will satisfy even the most demanding tourist.

Nea Plagia

Nea Plagia is a popular among Greek people and foreign tourists village, which is located 44 km from the airport of Thessaloniki city.

Nea Potidea

Nea Potidea is a popular tourist village which is located 60 kilometers from Thessaloniki airport. It is a popular resort with many activities and wide sandy beach.

Nea Skioni

An authentic Greek village Nea Skioni is located 100 kilometers from the airport Macedonia in Thessaloniki on the east seaside of Kassandra. It is a quite and cosy village surrounded by forests, without tourists’ crowds, but with all necessary infrastructure which work all year round.

Pefkohori

It is a lively tourist village located 93 km from Thessaloniki. The population of Pefkohori is app. 1600 people. The name Pefkohori in terms of Greek language means “pine village” and it is famous with its pine woods and crystal clear sea sky-blue color. There are modern hotels, stores, taverns, restaurants, bars and night clubs, children’s amusement facilities. There is a small port in Pefkohori which suggests a wide range of sea-excursions. Night clubs located along the beach attract a lot of young people here, but the village is quite and idyllic throughout the day.

Polychrono

It is a very nice village on the eastern seacoast of the Kassandra peninsula at the distance of 86 km from the airport in Thessaloniki. The population of Polychrono is appr. 1000 people. Polychrono is a developed tourist village with perfect sandy beaches which suggests a wide variety of entertainment for every tourist.

Siviri

Siviri village is situated on the West seaside of Kasandra peninsula 82 km from Thessaloniki airport.
