Ioannina is covered with snow!

The first snow of the season has started to fall!  The mountainous regions of the prefecture of Ioannina in western Greece are covered in snow.  Residents of Milia, Aetomilitsa, Furka and Vasilitsi were happy to wake up in the beautiful white scenery. The region’s temperature is around 2 degrees and the snow is about 15 cm high.
