PapademosRecently appointed Greek Prime Minister Lucas Papademos enjoys the support of the majority of Greeks with four in 10 saying he should remain at the helm of the country for the next few years, poll results published Sunday show.
According to survey results published in Ethnos newspaper, 62.7% of respondents view Papademos positively after he was appointed head of the country’s interim government last month, with 40.3% saying he should stay on and run the country for the next few years without calling elections. Almost 38% replied that Greece should go to the polls in February or March.
