Aquapark Waterland in Thessaloniki

Waterpark Waterland  in Thessaloniki is one of the largest aqua parks in Europe and the only aqua park in Northern Greece. Aqua park is located in the suburbs of Thessaloniki near the village of Neo Risio, 42 km from our village Paralia Dionisiou Beach and 19 km from the main Aristotelous square in Thessaloniki.

Aquapark Waterland is open from 15 of June and works till the end of September. Working hours vary during the summer season. Exact information you can see on their web-site:

The entrance ticket for waterpark in Halkidiki for adults and children over 14 years old costs 14.50 euro, for children from 4 to 14 years old – 11 euro  and children to 4 – free. There are cheaper tickets for visitors of aqua park in the last 2 hours of the day and also unlimited visiting cards for the whole season at the price from 30 euro.

Sunbeds in aquapark of Thessaloniki are free of charge compared to many aqua parks in Europe. There are cafés and snack bars in Waterland where you can buy food (hot dogs, souvlaki, pancakes, ice-cream, biscuits, juices and other junk food). The prices are the same as in Thessaloniki city, not more expensive as it often happens in other European aqua parks: for example, the 0.5l bottle of water costs 0.50 euro  (it is the maximum price by the law in Greece).

You can enjoy many water attractions for any age in aquapark: Pirates Island for young visitors, Crazy river and Multi Slides for all ages, Simvoli Slides for juniors and adults (one of them is Kamikaze slide), water pool with small slides, water pool Zen with waterfalls and water pool Tarzan for adults and juniors where you have to reach the opposite part of the pool with the help of ropes and platforms. You can enjoy nice picturesque view of the hills and mountains from many attractions.

The visit to aquapark in Thessaloniki will be interesting for of all ages of children. The area of the park has many trees and umbrellas for the visitors to be in the shade and hide from the sun.

You can reach aquapark Waterland with your own or rented car from our village Paralia Dionisiou Beach (you can take a map of Halkidiki from our office for free and we will explain to you how to get there) or with organized excursion by bus (approximate price is 40 euro for adults and 30 euro for children, entrance ticket is included).
